Keeping Our Toys Sparkling for Everyone!

A friendly but important reminder to all our wonderful members to thoroughly clean toys before returning them. Here’s how you can help:

🪵 Outdoor Toys: Wipe down with a damp cloth or hose them off if they’re muddy or dusty. Ensure they’re completely dry before returning them to avoid mould.

🏠 Indoor Toys: Use warm soapy water or a gentle disinfectant wipe for a thorough clean. For anything with batteries or electronics, wipe the surface only - no soaking!

🛁 Bath Toys: Wash with warm soapy water and rinse well to remove any soapy residue. Check for water inside and give them a good squeeze to ensure they’re completely dry.

👶 Toddler and Baby Toys (chewed or sucked on): Wash with warm soapy water or a baby-safe disinfectant. Focus on cleaning those nooks and crannies where little teeth or hands may have left their mark!

Our volunteers and session coordinators already spend so much time cleaning and maintaining the toys, so your regular and thorough cleaning helps show respect for their efforts, saves them valuable time, and keeps the toys in great condition for everyone.
