NEW Re-Imagine Play toy arrivals

Thanks to the 2021 Glen Eira Council Community Grants Program, we have re-invigorated our imaginative play toys by adding sustainable items made from recycled materials to the collection. We want to reduce waste by purchasing toys that can be recycled or have been made from recycled plastics or wood.

Our imaginative play section – toy foods, tool kits, vehicles, doctors kits, was in need of an upgrade.

We have purchased a range of toys that are

• made from recycled materials

• wooden

• able to be recycled when no longer usable.

This project will enable future toy library volunteers to recycle, up-cycle or donate toys once they reach the end of their toy library life span. This is a fabulous long-term outcome for our whole community.
