Volunteer Coordinator

 

 

 

The Volunteers Coordinator is important in the day-to-day running of the toy library as they help to ensure we have enough volunteers to assist with the duty roster to facilitate borrowing at the toy library during opening hours. Our duty roster is a mix of volunteers and members. Time Commitment 1 hour per week.

Tasks

• Activate the Volunteers Seek ad when our duty roster is looking empty and we don’t have enough volunteers to facilitate upcoming open sessions

• Review and respond to Volunteer applicants via email.

• Add volunteers to our Mibase system and book them into the allocated duty roster

• Touch base via email after their session to see how often they want to keep coming back, & roster accordingly

• Contact unsuccessful volunteers to advise of their status.
